This section of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas was extremely exciting but in a much different way than usual. Earlier in the book the characters were just parading around Las Vegas on all different types of drugs. It was exciting to see the different ways they would react to these drugs. The narrator and attorney are reunited and back at it in Las Vegas. They are still doing drugs but the descriptions of their trips aren't as vivid as before. Now the main context of the story is about how they feel about different things. For instance the character Lucy is introduced in this section. She was a nice church girl that happened to get picked up by the attorney and now she is tripping on acid and a complete mess. The characters eventually try to ditch her because they believe she will get them caught by the law.
